This weekend Briton Ferry Llansawel head to Park to face The New Saints in the Adran Trophy semi-final. This game happing a week later then scheduled due to a frozen pitch at Park Hall last week.

The Reds have not yet played in 2025 after seeing multiple games called off due to the weather. Their last two matches came at the end of 2024 where they won back to back against Cardiff City and Swansea City. Lucy Powell and Alison Witts with the goals in a 2-0 win over the Swans at Old Road. Then against Cardiff Maia Owen and two from Powell giving the Reds a 3-1.

The New Saints will head into the game full of confidence after winning their last seven games in all competitions. They are on a 11 game unbeaten run which has seen them top the Adran Premier. Their last match came back in December when Lexi Jones' added time winner gave them a 1-0 win over Swansea City.
The sides have met once this season in a Adran Premier game at Park Hall drawing 1-1. Alison Witts gave the Reds the lead after 33 minutes but Holly Havard equalised before half time. The dynamic of the game changed on the hour mark when Reds keeper Courtney Young was sent off. Olivia Kett-White came on and played in goals on her Adran Premier debut and helped keep the score at 1-1.
While acknowledging the threat that TNS pose Reds manager Rhys James believes his side can cause the league leaders problems,
"The team remain in good spirits despite the weather having the better of us past few weeks.
"We still remain positive to go there and cause TNS problems, even with them being the best team in the league at the moment.
"If we didn't believe that, then there was no chance we'd get anything from the game.
"We have to go there and believe in what we are good at and limit the areas they exploited against us last time."
Having getting a point on their last visit the Reds manager is hoping his team can go one better this time.
"I thought we were excellent against them last time.

"Defensively well organised and even with 10 players and having an outfield player in goal, we still managed to hang on and even craft some chances of our own.
"We had a great chance at 1-1 to go win the game.
"I really enjoyed our energy in that game and we are going to need the same again, it's a big pitch and when you don't have the ball it's a tough old day.
"Really looking forward to it, massive achievement for the club to be in the Semi Final of the cup and hoping we can go one further and get into the final.
