The Reds are on the road this weekend as they head to Jenner Park to face Barry Town United. The match at Jenner Park will be an early kick off with the match starting at 12:30.
The Reds were forced to postpone last weekends game against Aberystwyth due to the heavy rain last week. Their last game was a Welsh Cup tie away to Penydarren which saw Ferry run out 11-1 winners.
Barry were in action last weekend and Ellie Gunney scored in added time to gain them a point against Swansea City at Jenner Park. Erin Murray had given the Linnets the lead in the first half before goals from Stacy John-Davies and Emily Richards saw the Swans ahead. Gunney’s late goal giving Barry another draw against the Swans after they held them to a 0-0 draw at Swansea.com Stadium in September.
Barry currently sit just above the Reds in the Genaro Adran Premier with 12 points on ahead of Ferry. Barry have played two games more and a win for the Reds would see them rise above Barry.
Stevie McCarthy-Campbell’s side have three wins, three draws and two defeats in the league so far this season. An opening day 5-0 defeat to TNS was followed by a draw at Swansea and three wins. The third win being a 1-0 victory over Wrexham at Jenner Park. Since that win they have drawn twice and lost once, at Cardiff City 3-0.
Ellie Preece has been in good form for Barry with six goals and three assists across all competitions this season.
The Reds have not had a league match since their trip to The Rock when they were beaten by Wrexham. Since then Ferry have played two Cup games against Penybont in the Adran Trophy and Penydarren in the Welsh Cup winning both. In the Adran Premier they have won three and drawn two of their six games.

Leaders Cardiff City host Wrexham at Cardiff International Sports Stadium. The Bluebirds will be looking to get their second win of the season over Wrexham after winning at the Rock. The reigning champions lead the table by two points and won’t want to allow TNS the chance to move top. Wrexham are down in sixth spot and will be wanting to gain points to mount a top four finish to phase one.
Second Placed TNS will travel south to face bottom side Cardiff Met. Met are yet to win a game this season and have only one point. TNS have lost just once this season and will be looking for top scorer Chantelle Teare to add to her five league goals as they look for their first win at Cyncoed Campus.
Swansea City will host Aberystwyth at LLandarcy Academy of Sport as they look to close the gap on the top two. Aber are yet to pick up their first win and will be want to bounce back after a 83rd minute Lia Lewis penalty saw them lose to TNS in their last Adran Prem match. Swansea will be looking to get to winning ways after conceding late at Barry last week.
