Briton Ferry picked up a huge in in this years Adran South title race as they put six past Cascade. An Alison Witts hat trick along with Meg Kearle hundredth goal for the Reds helping them to victory.
The first half started out tight as both teams tried to settle the quickest. Cascade tried to play with a high line and catch the Reds offside. At times this worked but 13 minutes in and Mollie Jones broke their trap to set Alison Witts for the opening goal. Mollie Jones added the second before Laura-May Walkley made it 3-0 before half time.
The Reds continued pushing for goals in the second half as forced Cascade deeper into their half. Cascade did manage a couple of their own chances, but Courtney Young was on form to deny them. Meg Kearle got the reds fourth in the 61st minute and Alison Witts added her second to make it 5-0.
Laura-May Walkley won a corner which Mollie Jones took. Jones sent the ball into the box, but the keeper got a hand to it. Walkley tried to keep the move alive, but Cascade were able to get the ball out of play.
Fleur Jenkins sent a ball out wide for Kearle who was able to put a cross into the box. It was Jenkins who got on to the end of the cross, but she couldn’t direct the ball on target.
Just moments after and Mollie Jones broke away down the left-hand side. Making a driving run into the box to the touchline. Jones then squared the ball across to Alison Witts who had a tap in to give the Reds the lead.
Fleur Jenkins and Mollie Jones then took advantage of Cascade’s high defensive line as Jenkins though ball allowed Jones to chase. Jones won the race with the Cascade centre backs and coolly slotted the ball across the keeper into the bottom corner.
Walkley sent Witts though but the froward was alone waiting for teammates to join the attack. Witts managed to craft a shot that went just over the bar.
Walkley made it 3-0 in the 40th minute with a stunning strike from outside the box. Walkley won the ball deep into the Cascade half with a strong tackle. Meg Kearle picked the ball up and played it back to Walkley who curled the ball from the left side into the top corner.

Annalise Lewis went close to pulling a goal back when her free kick needed touching on to the bar by Courtney Young.
Fleur Jenkins made a run into the box from the left and went close to adding the fourth. Her effort going just past the post. Just a few moments later and she was in again this time hitting the side netting.
Walkley got in behind the Cascade defence with a good run forward. She went for goal but hit her shot straight at the Cascade keeper.
On the hour mark and a historic moment for Meg Kearle as she fired home for her 100th goal for Briton Ferry. Kearle hitting a shot on the turn to make it 4-0.
Cascade had a chance from a corner with a close range shot at goal. Courtney Young though producing a fine save to deny the home side.
Alison Witts then got her second to make it 5-0. Lowri Baker playing the ball in behind the defence and finding Witts who put the ball in the net from close range.
In added time Alison Witts header from a corner was turned in by a Cascade defender to make The Reds lead six.
