Briton Ferry Llansawel made it two wins from two in the Genaro Adran Premier with a 3-0 win over Wrexham at Old Road. A stunning performance from the Reds in front of the visiting Disney+ cameras.
The Reds began the first half well and took the game to Wrexham. The early pressure and quick start lead to the Reds taking a two goal lead. Lowri Ridings grabbing the first before Alice Broadley hit a wonder strike five minutes later. Ferry continued the half pushing and were close to getting a third before the break.
They didn’t have to wait long after the break for their third when Tija Richardson turned in two minutes after the restart. Ferry had chances for more goals but had to defend well at times as Wrexham looked to get back into the game. Brooke Llewellyn denied Rosie Hughes serval chances and Lowri Ridings was dominating in the air heading away ball after ball.
The win keeps the Reds in second place in the Adran Premier after two games below The New Saints on goal difference and above Cardiff City, with all three clubs on six points.
The games first chance fell to Wrexham when Rosie Hughes got in on goal. Hughes went for the near post but Courtney Young made a decent save.
The Reds made an early chance when they were able to get the ball into the box for Lucy Powell. She took aim at the goal and forced the keeper into a save.
Ferry went close when Alison Witts hit a shot on the turn and forced a good save from Craven leading to a Ferry corner. Lucy Powell's corner was put out for another Ferry corner. Powell’s second corner hit the side netting.
Maia Owen won a free kick to the right side on the box. Lucy Powell sent the ball into a congested six yard box where it was put in by Lowri Ridings.
The Reds went two up after 17 minutes thanks to a stunner from Alice Broadley. Receiving the ball out on the left Broadley deftly sent it looping over the Wrexham keeper.
Wrexham started to come back into the game and manage a couple of chances that went over Courtney Young’s goal.
Walkley almost capitalised on some uncertainty in the Wrexham back line. Winning the ball just outside the box Walkley hit a shot but it was straight at the keeper.
Wrexham had a chance as a though ball into Rosie Hughes sent the Wrexham forward running at goal. Hughes was stopped by a perfectly timed tackle from Brooke Llewellyn.
Alison Witts found Fleur Jenkin s and she cut into the by-line and fired a ball across the goal. Wrexham turned it over the bar but it close to a third for Ferry.

Ferry began the second half in style and won an early free kick. Lucy Powell curled the ball from the right into the box and Tija Richardson headed in from close range for her first Ferry goal.
A cross into the box from Walkley need Craven to tip over the bar. Powell's corner was put out for another as Ferry claimed for a handball. They kept the pressure on an got another corner. This time Powell’s corner was sent back out to her and from her cross their was an offside.
Wrexham were awarded a free kick just outside the Ferry box which they sent into the box. It was flicked at goal but Young made another fine save to deny them.
The visitors kept the pressure on the Reds and Yong was forced into another good save before they put a chance over the bar from close range.
Alison Witts tried from a free kick from distance but her effort was straight at Craven. Shortly after Powell tried a long range free kick but too close top the keeper.
Witts forced another save from the Wrexham keeper when her downward header looked to going in from a Jess Denscombe cross.
Tija Richardson played a fine pass into the path of Witts. Witts tried to chip the ball over the keeper but it was just over the bar.
Wrexham put the Reds under pressure as the game was coming to a close but the Reds defence stood firm.
