Briton Ferry rounded off the group stage of the Adran Trophy with a 3-0 win over Cascade at Old Road.
Cascade made a good start to the game and forced the Reds back in the opening ten minutes. The Reds having to defend as the visitors pushed forward. Despite their pressure though they were unable to create many chances. Ferry grew into the game and managed to take the lead going into the break. Alison Witts with two goals before half time.
The rain stopped and the sun came out at the start of the second half and both sides had early chances. The Reds pushed forward trying to get the third goal and created serval chances. Cascade’s task was made harder when Daisy Evan-Watkins was sent off for her foul on Walkley. Fleur Jenkins had a goal ruled out as the ball came off her hand into the goal. Ferry added a third in added time to complete her hat trick.
The Reds will now head to the knock round of the Adran Trophy where Adran Premier sides will join the competition.
A quick Ferry break saw Mollie Jones put the ball in the net after a good passing move, but the flag went up and the goal was ruled out.
15 minutes into the game and the rain came hammering down making for tricky conditions for both sides.
Cascade pressured and Ferry were not able to start passing the ball around. Erin Parry managed to get a shot at goal, but her effort went wide.
A fine though ball from Megan Kearle sent Alison Witts away. Witts made her way to the edge of the box and hit a shot that was saved by Beth Connolly.
Ferry kept up the pressure as Jones whipped a ball across the goal from the left that was put out for a corner. From the corner taken by Jones, Witts’ effort was cleared off the line by Charli Carroll.
Meg Kearle whipped in a corner from the right and Alison Witts turned in it from close range a deft flick.
Just after as Cascade were claiming for a penalty Laura-May Walkley was brought down in the box. Alison Witts took the kick, but it was saved by Connolly. Witts hit the rebound, but Connolly saved again but at the third attempt Witts got the ball in the net.

Ferry made a better start to the second half and had an early chance. Fleur Jenkins cutting in from the right but her shot went wide.
Annaliese Lewis hit a shot from distance, but Courtney Young was alert and made the save. Young called into action again soon after as Daisy Evan-Watkins free kick creeped towards the far post.
Ela Roberts too a throw deep into the Cascade half and found Laura-May Walkley. Walkley sent the ball into the box where Witts met it. Witts’ header hitting the bar.
Walkley was though shortly after but was brought down by Daisy Evan-Watkins. Evan-Watkins was the last player and was shown a red card. Meg Kearle took the freekick but out it over the bar.
Fleur Jenkins then had a goal disallowed after she turned in Meg Kearle’s cross with her hand.
Kearle then broke free down the right and played a fine pass into the path of Alison Witts. Witts took aim at goal, but Connolly again pulled off a good save.
Alison Witts made sure of the win in added time as she rose above everyone else to head home Walkley's cross.
