Briton Ferry Llansawel lost 2-1 to TNS in their final home game of the season.
In a back and fourth fist half both teams saw good chances come. TNS took the lead in the tenth minute though Chantelle Teare's headed goal. The Reds came back into the game and Meg Kearle got the leveller in the 30th minute. The visitors however restored their lead in the 34th minute thanks to Lia Lewis.
The second half saw a toughly fought contest as the Reds looked to get back into the game and TNS looked to secure the three points in their fight for third place. Jade Crofts went close test to levelling while Helen Evans forced a good save from Courtney Young.
The Reds second place finish already secured is the highest place finish for a newly promoted side since the Adran Premier began. (Brought to you by Lexi Clayton)
TNS had the game’s first chance when a throw into the box found Molly Havard. Havard took a shot but it was wide of the post.
The visitors had another chance when they sent the ball into the near post but Ela Roberts was there to clear.
There was then a good chance for the Reds when Meg Kearle's corner caused a poor clearance from the Saints defence. The ball then fell to Lucy Powell who forced a good save from the keeper.

TNS took the lead in the tenth minute when Chantelle Teare headed in Maria Francis-Jones’ free kick.
Laura-May Walkley then sent the ball to Meg Kearle who played a though ball into the path of Jade Crofts. Crofts turned the defender before forcing another good save from the Saints keeper.
Powell then sent a free kick into the box but the Saints were able to clear. The ball went to Ella Smitham who tried from outside the box but the keeper collected.
It was a Lucy Powell corner that lead to the Reds equaliser. Powell’s in swinging corner was headed by a TNS player onto the crossbar. The ball fell right into Kearle who has simple header on the line.
TNS retook the lead in the 34th minute with a strike from Lia Lewis.
A ball though almost allow Molly Havard in but Lexi Clayton made a vital tackle to stop her.

An early free kick for the Saints saw them flash the ball across the Ferry goal but no one was able to get on to the end of it.
Another TNS free kick gave them another chance. After send the ball into the box it a shot came in which was saved by Courtney Young. The rebound fell to a TNS player who shot just over the bar.
Chantelle Teare then hit a shot wide as the visitors looked to extend their lead.

On the hour mark Rhys James made a triple change as Jess Denscombe, Alison Witts and Brooke Llewellyn all came on with Lucy Powell, Ela Roberts and Lexi Clayton coming off. Lexi Clayton receiving a standing ovation in her final game.
A free kick from Denscombe saw the ball find Crofts who tried to get a shot on goal but it was straight at the keeper.
Helen Evans hit a free kick towards goal but Young saved and turned the ball over the bar.
With five minutes left the Reds almost had the equaliser. Alice Broadley send the ball into the box to Jade Crofts who couldn’t get enough contact to put the ball in the net.
