The Reds marked their return to the Genero Adran Premier with a stunning 4-0 win over Aberystwyth Town at Park Avenue.
The first half saw a competitive and hard fought 45 minutes end goalless. Aber had the best chance of the half but Courtney Young made a fine save to deny them. Chances were low as both teams battled to take control with Aber trying to take the game to the Reds. Laura-May Walkley had a couple of decent chances but the game went into the break level.
The Reds came out stronger in the second half and started to stretch and test their opponents. They took the front foot and forced Aber back. Maia Owen gave the Reds the lead as she headed in from close range. Alison Witts added a second direct from a free kick with her first of the season. Jess Denscombe made it three with a stunning strike on the counter. The team were not done at three as Fleur Jenkins added a fourth in added time.
Aber had an early chance when a shot deflected off Lowri Ridings but over the bar for a corner. From the corner Amy Jenkins headed at goal but it was no trouble for Courtney Young.
Ferry had to absorb some pressure in the early goings and were forced to defend. Aber looking to establish their Premier League credentials.
After the Reds gave the ball away a low shot from the edge of the box was turned around the post by Young. At full stretch Young got a strong hand to the ball and kept the score at 0-0.
Aber had another chance to take the lead with Young outside the box Lowri Ridings provided cover to block a shot before Ela Roberts cleared.
Ferry did make a quick counter as Alison Witts got in front of her marker but put her shot just wide of the goal. Laura-May Walkley then saw her effort blocked.
Walkley won another corner which Lucy Powell took and found the head of Witts. Her effort saved before Fleur Jenkins shot was blocked.
Walkley tried from the corner of the box after cutting in from the left but her effort was to close to Chelsea Herbert in goal.

Maia Owen won a corner after being fed by Ela Roberts. Lucy Powell swung in a corner but Aber were able to defend it and gave the Reds another corner. From the second one Tija Richardson hit the side netting with her shot.
A loose pass out from Herbert gave the ball to Alice Broadley who found Fleur Jenkins. Jenkins played the ball to Witts but the Aber defence held firm and they were able to clear.
Walkley was sent though but before she could fire a shot a last gasp tackle stopped her. Owen fired a shot but it was blocked as the Reds looked to up the tempo.
The Reds pressure told in the 62nd minute as Maia Owen scored her first goal for Ferry. Jess Denscombe sent in a corner which Alison Witts met and it crashed off the bar but Owen was first following up in headed in from close range.
Alice Broadley won a free kick on the edge of the box and Ferry started to stretch their hosts. Alison Witts took the free kick and curled the ball over the wall and past Herbert. The keeper got a hand to the ball but there was too much power on the shot.
With the host trying to push forward to get back into the game Walkley sent Denscombe away down the left. With the goal in sight Denscombe stepped inside past a defender and curled the ball into the far corner.
In added time Fleur Jenkins added a fourth with a lovely chip over the keeper to ensure a opening day win for the Reds.
